I am a writer, artist, and teacher living with my wife and son in Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up in the California Bay Area, in a cul-de-sac surrounded by golden hills. Having spent the years of my youth wandering around redwoods, chaparral, and the wild beaches of the North Coast, I write stories inspired by nature and the dreams and fears that accompanied me on those walks. I am interested in the border between reality and imagined worlds; most of my work is set right at the edge of surrealism, absurdism, or fantasy.
