I have always been a writer; my parents still have a book I "wrote" as a 3-year-old (a thrilling tale of a mud monster), and I wrote stories throughout school and college. Over the last few years I've worked on publishing my stories in literary magazines. These are the results. It's miraculous to me that literary magazines still exist. I encourage you to subscribe to one or two, or to ask your local library to start stocking your favorite ones!
